The are only 2 ways I've found to conquer the girly new Rock foot pain...
1. Get so drunk you don't notice any more. This has two drawbacks, a) you're more likely to fall over and look silly b) this only lasts until the morning when you wake up in pain and walk like cripple for the first couple of hours
2. Get some gell insoles, they're about £5, but are squishy and take the edge off the foot pain.
Unfortunately I still end up using tactic 1. most of the time :-(
Try wearing them in the house for an hour or so randomly. it helps break them in, and you can just takee them off when they hurt.
1st time i wore my knee highs out, i was strapped in as tight as a corset 'cos they're so narrow, and I got cramp in my calf halfway through the eve. I knew if i took them off I'd never get them back on again, so everyone got treated to my jumping up and down, hitting my leg and swearing profusely for 5 mins :-\
