I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer today. The movie. Entertainingly bad. Not sure how much Whedon really wrote - I know the producers/directors whoever changed the ending totally. There were a few bits that had Whedonesque wit, but thought they were few and far between.

So, now all I need to do is find a copy of the TV pilot floating around which has a different Willow, and I'm finished.

It's rather... um... bad.

Not quite in the laughable way. Or at least the version I saw was a very very rough mockup. SO BAD! And yes, Willow was different, but I really do prefer Alyson Hannigan! The original was much plainer, and slightly plumper if I remember correctly (I saw it a few years back). It made Cordelia's comments about how Willow looked and dressed actually seem reasonable.

Anywho, unless you really want a world of wincing pain (or just a world full of shrimp) I'd avoid it.

Haha i like the Buffy film but im so glad Whedon had a step back and rethink for the tv show! Yes Pilot ep is cringy due to Willowness being well...i couldn't imagion that character in half the storylines that were done. Its well worth watching though it nice to see how it didn't turn out. i <3 Willow hehe so glad they recast it to Ally.
