Software patent bill thrown out (BBC). Vote was 648 to 14! This is a fantastic result. Now, will this be the end of the matter?

yeah, there have been a number of posts and emails on the subject but it seems pretty clear that it will come back at some point :-(

A fantastic result. I suspect that the big companies will try again, but democracy has worked this time, lets hope it continues to work.
