Mortiis ticket booked (Thursday 21st April at the The Charlotte).

"The Hand That Feeds" has has been confirmed as the first single off the new NIN album, "With Teeth" (due out May), along with a full track listing. Rumours suggest this will be released to radio in March and as a single in April. There is a quicktime clip online, which I am now downloading at the stellar rate of 400 bytes per second.

In other news, my mother has introduced me to a world-music cover of "Rock the Casbah", in Arabic. Most strange.

Either radio 2 is getting (slightly) better, or I am getting old. I fear it may be the latter.

Still prefer 6 music though!

I will be fascinated to see whether the new NIN album has any teeth. The Fragile was rather limp, and generally felt like Trent was half-asleep in the studio.

Well, Reznor has said "It's more song-oriented [than 1999's The Fragile]. It's much more lean. It's going to be twelve good punches in the face – no fillers, no instrumentals, just straight to the point". (here).

*furrows brow*
I really warmed to the instrumental stuff on The Fragile, I thought his 'songs' on there were a little weak TBH (We're in this Together being the exception).

I hope he's got some real agner back if he's going back to songs *keeps fingers crossed*.

I like the The Fragile, but don't think it was really a NIN album.

The song titles on With Teeth look pretty angry ("The Hand That Feeds", "You Know What You Are?", "Love Is Not Enough"). But Trent is nearly 40 now, so who knows...

Hey, Fat Bob can, at gone 40, do a credible impression of a 25-year-old angsty Fat Bob.
With any luck Trent can achieve the equivalent feat :)

I thought the 25-year-old Bob wasn't Fat Bob? :) I seem to remember him being quite skinny.
