well, today was an exciting day to travel home by rail. st pancras somehow remained possibly one of the only northern london terminals to actually remain in operation : but it puts my turning up and finding a fire alert at st pancras and barely catching train drama on Tuesday into insignificance. i am vaguely impressed my train arrived in london 1h20m ahead of the initial estimate : if only they could do that on other days, it would take no time at all!

my blood pressure is 122/78, apparently. i am not sure what that means.

I seem to be reading Illuminatus!. Hopefully, having done this, I shall be able to do a better job of co-writing
Robert Anton Wilson's UnNews obituary
the next time he dies.

maybe you have 1 and 22/39 amounts of blood in you?

That's a good blood pressure reading, healthy. They usually look for 120/80 and don't worry until it reaches 140/90.

Healthy blood pressure... Woot! Basically the high one is the pumping pressure from the left ventricle of your heart, and the lower one is the constant back-pressure of your major blood vessels. 'Systolic/diastolic' is the posh version.

Before my discharge from hospital six months or so ago, I started playing games with the nurses taking my blood pressure: I did some of the breathing and meditation exercises I've been taught and brought it down to 85/45. They asked me, very politely, to stop.

122/78: crikey - no idea what it means, but it sounds bad to me. I reckon if the veins on the backs of your hands are smaller than the bones, you're probably OK though.
