I've read the other bits and pieces and now realise it is where Thomas the Tank Engine is supposed to be based, but I still can't help thinking the name seems too similar to something out of the Lord of the Rings... one train to bind them all!
I'm not sure whether they are supposed to be actual celtic or not - they seem a bit of a mishmash. Probably not - as I doubt accurate linguistics would have been important in Thomas the Tank engine stories. ;) But apparently there is supposed to be a Sodor Gaelic.
I could make a map of the Sodor railways after the Beeching Axe of the 1960s. It would just be a plain white background.
