Good sign. However, I expect that some local preacher will preach against this and promises fire and brimstone on the judge's family. Or words to that effect.
After years of trying to reason with various stereotyped responses I eventually realised I was wasting my time and gave up. So when I encounter views like "I can't see how we descended from monkeys...", etc., what I really want to say in response is "Well, that's because you're not very bright dear." But I don't mostly for two reasons: I'm not that nasty and I don't want to get punched.
To be fair though, Dawkin's style modern evolutionary theory is not easily understood even by many people with above average intelligence.
