1. Take far more money than you expected to. 2. Spend it. 3. There are, apparently, bands. The people are much more fun however. 4. You can wear The Boots all Whitby with enough codeine and alcohol and caffeine. 5. Whitby is cold. It's where the goth leather trenchcoat really comes into its own. 6. The cabs are cheap and efficient when the weather is unfeasibly vile and/or your feet refuse to work (see 4.)
