(no subject)

we've decided on IRC that this year's Big Brother could do with an interesting twist. the one we are thinking of is as follows: carry on as normal, but don't actually broadcast any of it, or conduct actual votes or anything. they may wish to actually keep tapes of things that happen, or not. each week, someone gets evicted (as normal, except that evictions will be decided by whim of producers or by a coinflip) and it is revealed that they have spent X weeks of their life locked away from the world and NOBODY CARES. *cackle* possibly then this moment of revelation is broadcast.

othergates, I finished watching the The Daleks last night and then also watched all of Genesis of the Daleks.

firebug music quiz this evening?

I vote for public executions in a variety of cruel and unusual ways, with the winner escaping after only a mild kicking and a smattering of televised ridicule.

Sounds like the movie, "Series 7" - a faux reality TV show/movie where the participants have to kill each other and the survivor is the winner. Bizarre but highly entertaining for those who loathe programs like BB.

He he i have series 7 the contenders :o)

Why evict them? Why not just leave them in there? FOREVER.

Funny thing is, my boss seems to be quite a fan of big brother - not quite sure why, she's a scarily intelligent woman in other respects, so I guess things like that must be her way of clearing her head :)

I think that's a great idea for BB, you should submit it to c4.

Do you all still have the public vote out people? In the US, since Big Brother 2 (this summer will be #7), the houseguests themselves voted to evict two people nominated by the Head of Household. I prefer it that way because they can be more bitchy, therefore leading to better TV.

yes, we still have real big brother here, not your imitation! :p
