I ordered one in August. paid the deposit. She said she hoped to have it done for my birthday (september). I'm still waiting.........

TBH i stopped nagging. i was going in regularly for progress reports, then stuff got busy at work (and i hate town when the weather's bad too). Your post has reminded me that i really oughta chase this up (or get my deposit back!)

:)

I think I'll be popping in tomorrow lunchtime, though rather uncertainly. If I am going to get one made I'd rather it be someone I can go and shout at...

Jo is lovely and the people I know who have her corsetry all praise her highly but I can't say much about how long they take as I really don't know. Try asking Tankgirlinblack, I am pretty sure she'd have more of an idea :o)

fluffyvix was going to get her last whiby corset from jo, but she couldn't get hold of the material vix wanted in time. But she did quote less than a week for a made to measure corset at well under £100 (material dependant).

The stuff in her shop looks and feels well made. Not that I go in there and stroke the clothes at all........*ahem*

I don't own anything of hers yet, but she is going to make my wedding dress when I get the money together, which will have a corset. She is happy to make stuff with material you want, you can even bring your own. And she's happy to alter stuff to be exactly your design, thought you may have to wait a little longer for more unique designs though.

Well, I just went in and ordered one. :) Seems more sensible than trying to get one off a rack somewhere.

I am told one or two weeks.

I ordered one recently and have high hopes that it will be ready by the end of this week. I have heard good things about the products she makes.

I'll let you know how it turns out.
