The builders apparently have not finished replastering. Bah. Going to look at the house again Monday hopefully. Have to decide on what furniture I want (bed, wardrobe, chest, desk seems like a good idea). And also what colour scheme, maybe. Don't think I've ever chosen a colour scheme for a room before - does that make me a grownup?

I must remember to check if they have broadband.

Nah, the only time I have been allowed to choose a colour scheme for a room was when I was not grown-up at all. :( Landlords suck.

I hope this one is ok - friend of some friends (which actually might make a dispute, should one happen, nastier but oh well).

It is so much nicer to be allowed to live amongst colour as opposed to magnolia or white! I've taken to painting my furniture instead.

But it means I have to choose! And there is a whole continuum of colours out there...

Ooh, did you see [livejournal.com profile] gnimmel's entry about colours?

I didn't - interesting. We should start a project to name them all, I feel!

Magnolia walls, white ceiling and grey/purple carpet. Everywhere. I hate it :-(

And surely broadband should be the first consideration when looking for a home...

Eep.

Well, um, yes. I do know that it's close enough to an exchange to have ADSL, and I'll have enough notice that I'll be able to get it fitted before I actually move in...
